Dario Health
One Brand, One System
Unifying a global digital health platform post-acquisition
Brand identity · Design system · Creative strategy | Role: Design Director | 2024–2025
When Dario Health acquired Twill in 2024, two distinct digital health brands became one overnight.
The challenge of reconciling the Dario brand was both visual and organizational. We needed a unified identity that could scale across a global platform, align fragmented teams, and signal a new chapter without disrupting the user journeys already in progress.
Challenge
Post-acquisition, the brand existed as fragmented visuals, voices, and assets spread across siloed teams. Dario and Twill had each built strong individual identities—but together, they needed a shared system that could extend across product, sales, marketing, and operations while preserving the craft and credibility each brand had earned.
Insight
The brand needed a shared visual language and the practical tools to apply it confidently. Consistency would come from a system designed to be used: modular, accessible, and governable at scale.
Approach
Our in-house team built a comprehensive branded house identity system, refining typography, color, motion, and imagery into a cohesive whole, and pairing it with guidelines, templates, toolkits, and governance frameworks that enabled every team to execute with confidence.
We developed sub-brand identities for Dario Mind and Dario Connect, evolved the thread system inherited from Twill to support new brand behaviors—Untangle, Connect, and Guide—and established a photography approach that balanced confidence and warmth across corporate and condition-specific contexts. Every element was built to work independently and together.
Outcomes
The new system scaled seamlessly across globally-distributed teams and channels, elevating visual quality and consistency company-wide. Measurable results followed: a 400% increase in web traffic and a 500% increase in LinkedIn page views: signals of a brand that now spoke with one voice, clearly and at scale.
